Welcome
Makanyane Lodge is an exclusive-use, family friendly home-away-from-home in the bush. We are situated in the malaria free Black Rhino Private Game Reserve, Pilanesberg National Park.
Location
Makanyane Lodge is located in the Black Rhino Game Reserve, which is a private reserve adjoining and incorporated into the Pilanesberg National Park.
We are approximately 185km/2hr drive from Rosebank/Sandton, and 1.5hrs from Pretoria.
Rates & Reservations
Rates are quoted for the whole lodge, and not per person. The lodge may only be rented out on an exclusive-use basis.
The Lodge sleeps a max 10 adults. Children over the age of 10 are considered part of the maximum number of guests accommodated. Those under 10yrs are not considered in your total accommodation numbers.
However, only 10 guests are allowed on the game vehicle, irrespective of age.

What can you do?
At Makanyane Lodge, you will have access to a private open back game vehicle, allowing you to determine the duration and departure times of your game drives.
The lodge has a swimming pool, a boma, sunset viewing deck and a pizza oven for your use.
In the area, there are two world class golf courses at Sun City, as well as fun for the whole family at the Valley of the Waves
